Job Description

Advance your imaging career with this opportunity for an experienced PET/CT Technologist. This contract position requires proficiency in both CT and PET modalities, working in a dynamic healthcare environment. Youll play a key role in patient assessment, scan acquisition, and image quality assurance, ensuring high standards of diagnostic imaging.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 4 shifts per week, each 10 hours
  • Assignments rotate between Keene and Concord locations

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Certification as a PET/CT Technologist (ARRT, NMTCB, or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated experience with PET and CT imaging technologies
  • Current BLS certification (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety and infection control procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform PET and CT scans according to physician orders and established protocols
  • Prepare and position patients while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the procedure
  • Operate imaging equipment and monitor for proper function and image quality
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists and other clinical staff to ensure continuity of care
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to privacy regulations
  • Uphold infection prevention standards and cleanliness within the imaging suite
