Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT imaging with a focus on rapid stroke diagnosis and treatment support
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
- Operate and maintain CT equipment, adhering to facility protocols
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and medical staff to assist in prompt and accurate interpretation of imaging results
- Document all procedures in electronic medical records (EMR systems EPIC and McKesson PACS) accurately and timely
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and state requirements, including Alaska State fingerprint and background checks
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current CT Technologist certification and licensure as required by credentialing standards
- Experience with stroke center imaging protocols strongly preferred
- Proficiency with EPIC and McKesson PACS systems
- Ability to cover stroke call and handle urgent imaging situations
- Ability to comply with Alaska State background and fingerprinting requirements
Schedule & Details:
- Shift: Thursday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
- 13-week contract assignment with 36 hours guaranteed per week
