You'll work with cutting-edge Siemens MCT imaging systems, helping provide accurate diagnostics while learning various workplace approaches and gaining insight from multiple leadership styles.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel role Local travel between sites within Michigan required

Key Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associates Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Certification in Nuclear Medicine: NMTCB or ARRT (RT-N) required
  • 1-2 years of PET/PETCT imaging experience
  • AHA BLS certification (current)
  • Experience operating Siemens MCT scanners (required)
  • Valid state drivers license (as applicable)
  • Willingness to work in varied locations across Michigan
  • Proficiency in nuclear medicine procedures and studies

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure patient comfort, safety, and satisfaction throughout the imaging process
  • Pre-screen patients for contraindications and adhere to safety standards when handling radioactive materials
  • Produce high-quality PET/CT images to aid in precise physician diagnosis and treatment
  • Clearly communicate with patients, families, and radiologists
  • Train new technologists and assist with onboarding as needed
  • Troubleshoot imaging, scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment issues
