Qualifications:

  • ARRT certification required
  • Previous experience in CT, X-ray, Fluoroscopy, and MRI preferred
  • Knowledge of safe radiation practices and quality control
  • Comfortable administering contrast under radiologist supervision
  • Commitment to federal, state, and DNV standards and safety rules

Role Responsibilities:

  • Operate and oversee CT, X-ray, MRI, and fluoroscopic equipment, maintaining strict safety protocols
  • Capture and process diagnostic images, ensuring technical quality and clarity
  • Assist radiologists with interventional procedures and contrast administration
  • Monitor for safety hazards, especially regarding metal objects in MRI environments
  • Guide, transport, and advocate for patients throughout the imaging process
  • Maintain compliance, cleanliness, and adequate supplies in all imaging areas
  • Contribute to staff and patient scheduling for optimal efficiency
  • Evaluate images, update records, and assist in student training
