Job Description
Embark on your next professional opportunity specializing in imaging as a CT Technologist. This position focuses on providing technical expertise in CT procedures, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and excellent patient care.
Schedule:
- 6:00 PM 6:30 AM, Friday through Sunday
Qualifications:
- Active BLS certification required
- Current ARRT (CT) certification
- Valid Kentucky state license for CT technology
- Prior experience in computed tomography (CT) preferred
- Strong understanding of imaging protocols and patient safety procedures
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT scans following physician orders and department protocols
- Accurately position patients and operate imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and additional healthcare professionals
- Monitor patients well-being during procedures, reporting any changes or concerns promptly
- Maintain detailed documentation and accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and infection control policies to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
- Manage and maintain CT equipment, reporting any malfunctions for timely resolution
