Key Qualifications:
- Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) from an accredited program
- Current ARRT registration or equivalent CT credential
- Proven experience operating CT equipment in a clinical setting
- In-depth understanding of imaging protocols and patient positioning
- Ability to communicate clearly with patients, families, and colleagues
- Commitment to follow safety procedures and infection control guidelines
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and advanced CT scans as ordered by physicians
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures and address any questions or concerns
- Verify patient identification and obtain required medical histories
- Maintain accurate documentation of all imaging procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
- Monitor equipment performance and report any malfunctions promptly
- Adhere to privacy laws and maintain strict confidentiality of patient records
