Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required
• Active and unrestricted ARRT (R)(CT) or equivalent credentials
• Valid BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Demonstrated experience operating CT imaging equipment in a clinical setting
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and patient positioning
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) for accurate data entry and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans as ordered by healthcare providers, ensuring diagnostic quality images
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and ensuring comfort and safety
• Adjust and operate imaging equipment according to best practices and safety guidelines
• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to deliver coordinated patient care
• Maintain detailed, accurate records and ensure confidentiality according to HIPAA guidelines
• Monitor supplies and report equipment issues in a timely manner
• Adhere to infection control and departmental protocols
