Qualifications:
- 12 years of PET/CT experience required
- Active NH Rad/CT Tech License
- Nuclear Medicine Certification (ARRT or NMTCB)
- BLS certification preferred
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to adapt to both outpatient, mobile, and inpatient care environments
Responsibilities:
- Ensure patient safety and comfort, including screening for contraindications, aseptic technique, and radiation safety compliance
- Produce high-quality diagnostic PET/CT images
- Communicate effectively with radiologists, patients, and clinical staff
- Train and mentor new technologists and patient coordinators
- Troubleshoot scanners, mobile units, monitors, PACS, and associated equipment
- Accurately document procedures per regulations, especially when handling radioactive materials
