Required Qualifications:
- Valid ARRT (CT) certification
- Active state license in Radiologic Technology (if required)
- Minimum 1 year recent CT imaging experience in a clinical setting
- Proficiency with modern CT equipment and protocols
- Current BLS certification
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
Responsibilities:
- Operate CT imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
- Adhere to safety protocols and patient confidentiality guidelines
- Evaluate and adjust scanning parameters for optimal image quality
- Prepare patients for procedures, addressing questions and concerns
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the radiology team to ensure accurate diagnosis and care
- Document all procedures in the electronic medical records system
- Maintain equipment and troubleshoot as needed
