Qualifications:

• Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
• Valid NYS license/registration as a radiologic technologist
• Minimum of one year of CT or MRI experience as a radiologic technologist required
• Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality radiographic examinations under the guidance of departmental radiologists
• Greet and prepare patients, explaining procedures thoroughly
• Position patients and set appropriate exposure factors for optimal image quality
• Adhere to strict radiation safety standards to ensure patient and staff protection
• Operate, troubleshoot, and report equipment issues promptly
• Accurately process films and input patient data into the Radiology Information System
• Uphold and follow all department protocols and procedures
