A vital opportunity is available for an experienced CT Imaging Technologist specializing in stroke care in Chugiak, AK. This contract role supports advanced stroke care with a focus on precise and timely computed tomography imaging. The position demands a dedicated professional who can efficiently manage stroke coverage during shifts from Thursday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT imaging with accuracy and attention to detail in urgent stroke cases.
  • Utilize EMR systems, specifically EPIC and McKesson PACS, to document patient information and imaging results.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely communication and patient care continuity.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and quality control standards.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and professional compliance per healthcare regulations.
  • Comply with Alaska State fingerprinting and background check requirements as part of credential clearance.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Proven experience in CT imaging, particularly within a hospital stroke center or emergency care setting.
  • Familiarity with EPIC and McKesson PACS systems is a must.
  • Ability to work independently during assigned shifts in a high-pressure environment.
  • Alaska State fingerprint clearance and background check eligibility.
  • Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach.
