Qualifications:
- Valid ARRT certification in Radiography and CT
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as required
- Previous experience operating CT imaging equipment in a healthcare setting
- Proven ability to communicate clearly with patients and healthcare teams
- Competence in maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to safety protocols
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT scans as ordered by physicians
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining processes and providing reassurance
- Ensure imaging equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
- Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information in EMR
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinicians to ensure excellent patient care
- Monitor patients during exams for safety and comfort
