As a travel CT Technologist in Charlotte, youll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a modern radiology department accredited for stroke care, utilizing advanced technology to deliver essential imaging services. The hospitals exposure to diverse caseloads, including ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient units, provides outstanding opportunities to broaden your expertise in both everyday and complex diagnostic scenarios. Working with varied leadership styles and seasoned practitioners encourages continuous professional growth and makes each day uniquely rewarding.
Schedule/Hours:
- Variable shifts supporting a high-volume department, including weekday and weekend rotations
- Orientation includes administrative onboarding and 2 days to 1 week of departmental training, ensuring comprehensive support
Key Qualifications:
- ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience; open to first-time travelers
- Proficiency in starting peripheral IVs, multi-phase and venous/arterial phase scanning, stroke imaging (including perfusion), and colorectal studies
- Experience or familiarity with TeraRecon is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform a high volume of CT studies across multiple units (ED, inpatient, observation, outpatient)
- Conduct guided invasive procedures and cardiac CT imaging as needed
- Operate Siemens CT scanners and utilize Siemens, Philips, and Epic technology
- Collaborate with interdepartmental staff and radiology nursing support
- Maintain high standards in patient care and imaging accuracy
