Working in a free-standing emergency department with 12 ED rooms, you'll gain hands-on experience with the latest GE Optima 660 CT and GE Proteus X-ray technology. This role is structured to support both your professional and personal growth, offering exposure to a fast-paced environment where every day brings new challenges and valuable learning opportunities. Charlestons rich heritage, culinary delights, and scenic beaches await you on your days off, offering the perfect blend of work and adventure.
Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation, in line with local staff
- Potential to rotate to alternate shifts as needed
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- 1+ years of experience as a general radiology technologist, with CT experience
- SCRQSA certification
- ARRT(R)(CT) certification
- BLS certification
- Proficiency with Meditech documentation system preferred
- Comfortable working independently in an ER imaging setting
Responsibilities:
- Perform emergency department CT and X-ray examinations
- Operate advanced GE imaging equipment
- Adhere to facility protocols and patient safety standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of all procedures
- Collaborate with ER clinicians to ensure timely diagnostic imaging
