Schedule/Hours

Qualifications

  • ARRT certification required
  • Experience with CT, X-ray, and MRI modalities
  • Current BLS certification
  • Previous experience in hospital or acute care settings preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Comfort with quality control and compliance protocols

Key Duties

  • Operate, maintain, and ensure safety of CT scanner, X-ray, fluoroscopic, c-arm, and MRI equipment
  • Capture, process, and assure quality of diagnostic images
  • Assist radiologists with interventional procedures (e.g., biopsies, injections)
  • Explain procedures to patients, ensuring safety regarding metal and hazardous objects
  • Transport, guide, and protect patients for all imaging studies according to policy and standards
  • Utilize positioning aides and practice sterile techniques and Universal Precaution
  • Maintain records, logs, and compliance with all federal, state, and regulatory requirements
  • Clean and restock rooms, handle follow-up communications, and support administrative duties
  • Participate in training of radiology students
