Job Description

This contract opportunity utilizes your expertise in computerized tomography (CT) to deliver high-quality patient care. You'll work closely with physicians and other medical personnel, making a significant impact on day-to-day operations and patient outcomes.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Thursday, Friday, Saturday
  • 7:00 PM 7:00 AM (overnight shifts)

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in CT imaging, preferably in a hospital or acute care environment
  • Valid ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT)
  • Active, unencumbered state license or the ability to obtain licensing as required
  • Comprehensive understanding of CT equipment operation, radiation safety principles, and image processing
  • Strong clinical judgement, patient communication, and attention to detail
  • Ability to remain organized and efficient during overnight shifts

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform all necessary CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for accurate image interpretation and diagnosis
  • Properly prepare patients for procedures, explaining instructions clearly and answering questions
  • Operate imaging and computer systems, maintaining quality control standards
  • Accurately document imaging records and patient information in accordance with medical and legal requirements
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment
