Advance your career in medical imaging by providing patient-centered care in a contract-based CT technologist position. This role offers opportunities to work with cutting-edge equipment in a collaborative environment, ensuring quality diagnostic studies to support treatment decisions.
Required Schedule:
- Rotating shifts with call and holiday coverage
- 3 x 12-hour shifts each week
- Overnight: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
- Mid-shift: 12:00 PM 12:00 AM
- Day shift: 9:00 AM 9:00 PM
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent, visible CT experience highlighted on your resume
- Current, active CT certification is mandatory
- Previous acute care or hospital CT imaging experience preferred
- Ability to demonstrate strong technical, organizational, and communication skills
- Comfortable collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images per physician orders and established protocols
- Prepare and position patients for CT procedures, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the process
- Verify patient identification and review medical histories as part of the imaging workflow
- Monitor patients during scans and respond professionally to any emergent needs
- Accurately document scan details, maintain records, and assist radiologists with image review as needed
- Participate in on-call and holiday coverage as part of the shift rotation
