Advance your career in medical imaging with a contract opportunity focused on CT technology. This certified role is ideal for professionals with a strong foundation in computed tomography, ready to contribute their expertise in a dynamic clinical environment. Youll be instrumental in delivering precise, high-quality imaging that supports critical diagnostic decisions.
Schedule:
- 3x12-hour shifts per week
- Overnight: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
- Mid: 12:00 PM 12:00 AM
- Day: 9:00 AM 9:00 PM
- Includes call and holiday shift requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in CT imaging, clearly noted on your resume
- Active and current CT certification is mandatory
- Proficiency with advanced CT imaging procedures and equipment
- Strong understanding of patient safety and radiation protocols
- Capacity to operate effectively in fast-paced clinical settings, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire high-quality CT images following established protocols and physician requirements
- Prepare patients for CT procedures, providing caring, accurate instructions and comfort
- Perform technical evaluations, monitor equipment, and ensure optimal image quality
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support patient care objectives
- Maintain accurate records of procedures and uphold patient confidentiality standards
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements for imaging services
