Qualifications and Skills:

• Current and valid certification in CT (Computed Tomography) from an accredited program
• Registered with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in Radiography and CT
• State licensure in radiologic technology, if required
• Proven experience operating CT scanners in a medical setting
• Thorough knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, imaging protocols, and patient positioning techniques
• Strong patient communication and care skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain professionalism in urgent or high-volume situations
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT scans as ordered by providers, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure
• Accurately follow protocols for imaging and contrast administration
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
• Verify patient identity and explain procedures clearly to address questions and alleviate concerns
• Properly document exam details and patient information in the electronic health record
• Maintain equipment, following safety and infection control standards
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines
