Job Description

This opportunity involves operating advanced CT imaging technology in a dynamic outpatient setting with a dedicated team. Under the guidance of the manager, you will prepare and operate CT scanners based on physician orders, producing high-quality diagnostic images. Your role will encompass ensuring patient safety and comfort through clear communication, verifying patient information for accuracy, and maintaining detailed imaging records in accordance with established protocols.

Responsibilities include:

  • Setting up and operating CT scanners for routine outpatient exams
  • Preparing patients for scans, confirming identity, and explaining procedures tailored to individual needs
  • Entering and managing patient data within imaging systems and archiving scans properly to local and network databases
  • Adjusting technical settings on scanners and injectors to meet protocol and radiologist requests
  • Ensuring accurate labeling and successful transmission of images to the PACS system
  • Maintaining departmental equipment and adhering strictly to safety and procedural guidelines
  • Staying current with outpatient policies and procedures within the CT department

Desired qualifications:

  • ARRT or NMTCB registration in Radiography (R), CT (T), or Nuclear Medicine (N)
  • Applicable state licensure for imaging practice
  • Proven competency in performing routine outpatient CT examinations
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and care quality
  • Excellent communication skills to assist diverse patient populations

Schedule & Contract Type:

  • Monday through Friday
  • Four 10-hour shifts per week
  • Hours from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Contract position
