Job Description
Seeking a skilled professional to perform Computed Tomography (CT) procedures with precision and care using prescribed levels of ionizing radiation. This role involves working under the guidance of qualified physicians and technical specialists to produce high-quality diagnostic images for patients ranging from newborns to geriatrics. The position requires proficiency in operating CT imaging equipment and the ability to insert and remove IVs as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of CT imaging procedures while adhering to established protocols.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging sessions, accommodating the special needs of adult and older adult patients.
- Follow federal, state, and facility policies related to radiologic procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver accurate diagnostic results.
- Maintain equipment and prepare imaging areas for procedures.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Minimum of 1 year of Radiology experience, preferably with exposure to adult and older adult patient care.
- Licensed by the State Radiation Control Board.
- ARRT Registered as RT(R) or RT(N).
- ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography preferred; if not currently licensed in CT, candidate is required to obtain this within one year of hire.
- Current CPR certification.
