Schedule/Hours:
- 40 hours per week, mid-shift
- Weekend rotation
Qualifications:
- ARRT certification in Radiography
- ARRT certification in CT
- WI-DSPS Radiographer License
- AHA Provider BLS/CPR certification
Core Responsibilities:
- Maintain active status across assigned imaging modalities
- Support department coordinator with leadership and advanced clinical tasks
- Master all exams within assigned modalities
- Document and corroborate patient clinical histories for radiologist review
- Prepare patients for procedures, emphasizing education and comfort
- Select and operate imaging equipment, capturing high-quality diagnostic images
- Ensure proper positioning and immobilization to optimize results
- Prepare/administer contrast media and maintain IV access as required
- Initiate basic life support measures when needed
- Guide and mentor students and colleagues
- Provide input on departmental inventory and supply decisions
- Adhere to strict protocols, standard precautions, and patient identifiers
