Youll be based at a prestigious teaching facility recognized as a Level 1 Trauma Center, serving a diverse patient population across inpatient, outpatient, mobile, and emergency settings.
Your role enables you to work alongside respected leaders in imaging, sharpen your expertise with advanced equipment like GE Revolution, GE Discovery, and Toshiba Quillion1, and gain experience across a wide spectrum of CT exams from trauma to specialized cardiac studies. Schedule:
- Thursday to Monday, 11:00 PM 7:00 AM (5x8s preferred)
- Alternative: Thursday to Sunday (4x10s)
- Every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all types of CT exams including head, pelvis, trauma, cardiac, and CT angiograms
- Operate GE Revolution, GE Discovery, and Toshiba Quillion1 CT scanners
- Adhere to the highest standards of patient safety, privacy, and care
- Work across inpatient, outpatient, ED, and mobile environments
Required Qualifications:
- Current NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License
- ARRT R.T. (R) (CT) credentials
- NYS Injection/IV Certification (or willingness to certify before starting, with BERT application support)
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of CT experience; 2 years preferred
- Compliance with professional dress code (solid color scrubs, closed-toe shoes, neat appearance)
