Job Description
A sought-after opportunity is available for a skilled imaging professional with expertise in both CT and X-ray technology. This contract position spans from June 15, 2026, through September 12, 2026. The facility is seeking a capable technologist with a passion for high-quality patient care and a strong background in advanced imaging practices.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Wednesday, 9:00 PM 7:00 AM
- Friday, 9:00 PM 7:00 AM
- Saturday and Sunday, 7:15 PM 7:15 AM
- 10-hour shifts
- Thursday weekending structure: Mon-Wed (30 hours), Fri-Sun (34 hours)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of hands-on experience in both CT and X-ray imaging
- Current ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is necessary
- Strong proficiency with radiologic procedures and safety practices
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to provide compassionate patient care
- Detail-oriented and able to adapt confidently within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT and X-ray imaging examinations as ordered, ensuring accurate positioning and technique
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to established protocols
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support optimal diagnostic outcomes
- Prioritize patient safety, including adherence to infection control and radiation safety standards
- Accurately document imaging procedures and maintain up-to-date patient records
- Provide clear communication and education to patients regarding their procedures
