Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist with advanced training in CT imaging
- Valid ARRT (CT) credential required
- Wisconsin state licensure, or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience operating CT equipment in a clinical or hospital setting
- Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols
- Excellent communication skills and patient care abilities
- Ability to work efficiently under time constraints and adapt to changing priorities
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
- Operate CT imaging equipment, ensuring proper calibration and adherence to facility protocols
- Accurately position patients and set appropriate technical factors for each study
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for optimal diagnostic results
- Maintain accurate records and imaging documentation within electronic medical records
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines for patients and staff
- Monitor equipment for functionality and promptly report issues or needed maintenance
- Provide patient education regarding process and address any concerns or questions
