This assignment is the ideal way to gain hands-on experience with a mixture of GE and Siemens CT scanners while utilizing EPIC EHR, broadening your technical expertise and enhancing your resume. Exposure to diverse patient populations and busy, fast-paced trauma situations will challenge you and foster professional growthsetting the stage for future leadership opportunities.
Schedule:
- 36 hours per week
- Every/Other weekend: 12-hour shifts
- Three 8-hour evening shifts during the week
Desired Qualifications:
- ARRT (CT) Certification required
- Prior experience operating GE and Siemens CT scanners strongly preferred
- Previous exposure to Level 1 Trauma/Stroke center settings is an advantage
- Proven ability to work efficiently in high-acuity, fast-paced environments
- Proficiency with EPIC EHR or similar electronic health record systems
- Current BLS certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT imaging studies per physician protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure optimal patient care in an emergency, trauma-informed setting
- Accurately document and update patient records using EPIC EHR
- Maintain safety protocols and manage imaging equipment functionality
- Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication throughout procedures
