Schedule/Hours:

  • Flexible shift coverage and potential for overtime
  • On-call coverage required
  • Rotational assignments across radiology divisions and off-site clinics

What Youll Do:

  • Operate CT equipment (Siemens) and related technology to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
  • Prepare, position, and safeguard patients while selecting proper imaging factors per protocol
  • Explain procedures and maintain ethical standards and patient confidentiality
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with medical, nursing, and radiology staff
  • Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of all imaging equipment; report malfunctions promptly
  • Complete accurate patient documentation and manage Radiology Information System tasks
  • Perform venipuncture for contrast administration in line with departmental policies
  • Lead, instruct, and mentor technology students when needed
  • Prepare exam rooms, manage supplies, and support daily clinical operations
  • Engage in departmental quality assurance and research initiatives
  • Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
  • Provide compassionate care, using sound judgment in stressful situations

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • Active Massachusetts State Radiologic Technologist license
  • ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography (CT)
  • Siemens CT experience and Level 1 trauma exposure strongly preferred
  • Minimum 2-3 years as a Radiologic Technologist with at least one year in cross-sectional anatomy
  • Excellent interpersonal and analytical abilities
