Schedule/Hours:
- Flexible shift coverage and potential for overtime
- On-call coverage required
- Rotational assignments across radiology divisions and off-site clinics
What Youll Do:
- Operate CT equipment (Siemens) and related technology to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Prepare, position, and safeguard patients while selecting proper imaging factors per protocol
- Explain procedures and maintain ethical standards and patient confidentiality
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with medical, nursing, and radiology staff
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of all imaging equipment; report malfunctions promptly
- Complete accurate patient documentation and manage Radiology Information System tasks
- Perform venipuncture for contrast administration in line with departmental policies
- Lead, instruct, and mentor technology students when needed
- Prepare exam rooms, manage supplies, and support daily clinical operations
- Engage in departmental quality assurance and research initiatives
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
- Provide compassionate care, using sound judgment in stressful situations
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Active Massachusetts State Radiologic Technologist license
- ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography (CT)
- Siemens CT experience and Level 1 trauma exposure strongly preferred
- Minimum 2-3 years as a Radiologic Technologist with at least one year in cross-sectional anatomy
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical abilities
