Job Description

A healthcare facility in Boston, MA is seeking a skilled professional with expertise in Computed Tomography (CT) imaging for a contract opportunity. This role involves performing a variety of CT procedures under the guidance of a qualified physician, technical specialist, and CT Operations Manager. The position requires adherence to federal, state, and local regulations and policies while providing care to patients ranging from newborns to geriatric adults.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images of specified body parts
  • Perform procedures utilizing prescribed levels of ionizing radiation safely and effectively
  • Insert and remove IVs as necessary for imaging processes
  • Follow all regulatory and institutional policies to ensure patient and staff safety
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver patient-centered care

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Minimum of 1 year of radiology experience required
  • Knowledge of the needs and behaviors of adult and older adult patients preferred
  • Licensed by the Massachusetts Radiation Control Board
  • ARRT Registered as RT(R) or RT(N)
  • ARRT Computed Tomography registration preferred; if not held at hire, must be obtained within one year
  • Current CPR certification
