Job Description

A healthcare facility in Boston, MA is seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a contract position focused on night shifts. This role offers the opportunity to perform advanced diagnostic CT procedures utilizing GE CT scanner technology, contributing directly to patient care and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic CT scans with precision and adherence to established protocols under the guidance of the CT Manager and Clinical Lead.
  • Administer IV and oral/GI contrast media safely and effectively.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and customer service throughout imaging procedures.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently in emergency situations.
  • Document procedures and patient information accurately using EMR systems such as Epic and Visage.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless operations and patient flow.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
  • Valid Massachusetts state license in Computed Tomography.
  • Proficiency with CT scanning techniques; one year of CT experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience with GE CT scanners preferred.
  • Skilled in IV and oral contrast administration.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain a professional and positive demeanor under pressure.
  • Competency in EMR documentation.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 36 hours per week.
  • Night shifts: Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
  • Rotating shifts may be required.
