An opportunity is available for a skilled CT Imaging technologist to support a Stroke Center in Big Lake, AK. This contract role requires expertise in CT imaging and the ability to provide crucial stroke coverage. The position offers a guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week across three shifts, Thursday through Saturday, from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM, on a 13-week assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT imaging procedures with precision and care
- Provide timely stroke coverage, ensuring rapid and accurate imaging diagnostics
- Operate and manage imaging equipment, including EPIC and McKesson PACS systems
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with clinical teams to facilitate efficient patient care
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certified CT technologist with relevant state licensure
- Proficient in CT imaging, especially within stroke care environments
- Experience using EPIC and McKesson PACS for imaging management
- Ability to meet Alaska state fingerprint and background check requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
