Qualifications:
- Demonstrated recent experience in CT imaging
- Valid ARRT (CT) certification required
- Current state license (or eligibility) for radiologic technologist in Illinois
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Strong technical proficiency and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans as ordered by providers, ensuring safety and accuracy
- Operate imaging equipment and troubleshoot technical issues
- Verify patient information and explain procedures with compassion and clarity
- Adhere to all safety policies, keeping radiation exposure as low as reasonably achievable
- Accurately maintain patient records and images
- Collaborate with healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
