Schedule/Hours:
- Flexible scheduling may be available, including weekday and weekend shifts depending on department needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current ARRT (R) and CT certification
- Unrestricted state license to practice radiologic technology, or eligibility to obtain
- Minimum of one year recent experience in CT imaging setting preferred
- Solid understanding of safety procedures and imaging protocols
- Proficiency with modern CT equipment and PACS systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Current CPR/BLS certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans following established protocols, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, providing clear instructions and compassionate care throughout
- Operate and maintain CT equipment, reporting any technical issues promptly
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate patient records and enter scan information into electronic medical systems
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and infection control standards at all times
