This opportunity offers the chance to provide advanced diagnostic CT imaging and patient care at a well-regarded medical center renowned for its comprehensive specialty services. The position is ideal for a skilled CT Technologist with a minimum of three years experience, comfortable working nights and weekends within a supportive radiology team environment using GE equipment and EPIC EMR systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic CT scans across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings
- Assist radiologists with interventional and specialized CT procedures such as biopsies, ablations, and arthrography
- Ensure strict adherence to radiation safety protocols
- Organize and manage daily workflow efficiently as a key CT resource on shift
- Provide compassionate patient care throughout all procedures
Qualifications:
- Current CT Registry certification required
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum three years CT imaging experience, preferably including interventional procedures
- Ability to adapt and collaborate effectively with diverse clinical teams
- Commitment to work night shifts, including every weekend, with no weekends off
Schedule:
- Nights, 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (9:00 pm7:00 am)
- Guaranteed 36 hours weekly over a 16-week contract period
- Orientation will be conducted during day shifts; full-week availability for orientation required
