Qualifications:
- Associate's degree (A.A.S.) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
- NYS license/registration required
- Minimum of one year of experience as a radiologic technologist with CT/MRI exposure
- Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform radiographic and CT examinations as directed by departmental radiologists
- Explain procedures, position patients, and set appropriate exposure factors to obtain high-quality images
- Practice rigorous radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff
- Operate imaging equipment efficiently; report equipment issues to supervisors
- Process films and input information into the Radiology Information System for documentation
- Ensure strict adherence to department procedures, protocols, and safety standards
