Key Qualifications:
- Current ARRT (R) certification, with CT registry highly preferred
- Valid California Radiologic Technologist license
- A minimum of one year of hands-on CT imaging experience in a clinical setting
- Strong understanding of anatomy, patient safety, and contrast protocols
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team
- Current BLS certification
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT scans according to established protocols and physician orders
- Prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout exams
- Monitor equipment for proper functioning and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Accurately document images, procedures, and patient information in the EMR system
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other medical staff
- Uphold infection control standards and maintain a safe work environment
