Job Description
Advance your career in a dynamic CT Imaging setting, working in a high-acuity hospital environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for experienced professionals with a background in trauma and stroke care, who thrive in fast-paced departments and are comfortable working independently.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
- No weekend shifts
- On-call requirements: 2 shifts per week
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Active BLS, ARRT, and ISDH certifications (required)
- At least 2 years of recent CT experience in an acute/critical care setting
- Strong trauma and stroke imaging experience
- Excellent IV skills are highly preferred
- Ability to function independently and adapt to changing priorities
- Commitment to maintaining patient-centered care and safety
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures on emergency department patients in a 485-bed hospital
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure prompt diagnosis and intervention for trauma and stroke cases, maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio
- Operate Philips and Siemens CT equipment, utilizing Epic for EMR documentation
- Adhere to all department protocols and safety standards, including maintaining grey scrub attire and avoiding hooded jackets
- Float as needed during on-call shifts and assist other team members for optimal patient care
