Key Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT certification
  • CT and MRI modality experience highly desired
  • Proficiency operating x-ray, CT, and MRI equipment
  • Commitment to following quality control standards
  • Excellent patient communication and safety awareness

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain x-ray, fluoroscopic, c-arm, CT, and MRI equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety
  • Capture and process high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare and assist patients, including contrast administration and safe equipment operation
  • Assist radiologists during interventional procedures
  • Conduct and document quality control procedures per Federal, State, and accreditation standards
  • Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and presentable after each examination
  • Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports in accordance with department policies
  • Provide patient guidance and transport, using positioning aids as required
  • Contribute to staff and patient scheduling for optimal department efficiency
  • Engage in training new radiology staff and students
