An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled imaging professional with expertise in CT technology. This contract role involves operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to deliver high-quality, cross-sectional images of patients bones, organs, and tissues that are essential for diagnosing a range of medical conditions. In addition to CT scanning, the position requires versatility in performing various imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Demonstrated experience in CT imaging is required
• ARRT certification in radiology or equivalent, with advanced registry in CT preferred
• Valid state licensure to practice as a radiologic technologist
• Proficiency in general radiography and fluoroscopy techniques
• Strong communication skills and compassionate patient care approach
• Ability to adapt easily to new environments and technologies
• Commitment to safety practices and adherence to imaging protocols

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Perform additional imaging procedures, including radiography and fluoroscopy, as needed
• Accurately follow imaging orders and protocols for each patient
• Ensure proper patient positioning, comfort, and safety throughout procedures
• Collaborate with medical professionals to interpret and communicate imaging findings
• Document procedures in accordance with department policies and regulatory requirements
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as required
