Job Description
A specialized opportunity in advanced medical imaging is available for a professional skilled in CT and PET technologies. This contract position supports diagnostic services essential to patient care at multiple radiology centers within the Apex, NC region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT and PET imaging procedures following established protocols and safety standards.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including Mobile 1.5 Espree and Altea 1.5 systems.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure accurate and efficient patient diagnosis.
- Provide exceptional patient care, addressing questions and ensuring comfort during imaging procedures.
- Document imaging results and maintain compliance with regulatory and privacy requirements.
Desired Experience:
- Certification and hands-on experience as a CT and PET Technologist.
- Proficiency in operating Mobile 1.5 Espree and Altea 1.5 imaging equipment.
- Knowledge of radiologic safety practices and patient positioning techniques.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
Work Schedule:
- Saturday, 7:00 AM 5:00 PM (Wake Radiology Garner, Mobile 1.5 Espree)
- Sunday, 6:30 AM 8:00 PM (Wake Radiology Cary, In-house Altea 1.5)
- Monday, 6:30 AM 8:00 PM (Wake Radiology Cary, In-house Altea 1.5)
