Step into a vital role supporting diagnostic imaging services with your expertise in CT technology. This contract position centers on night shifts, providing essential coverage during weekends to ensure patients receive prompt, high-quality care.

Schedule:

• Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
• 7:00 pm 7:30 am (12-hour night shifts, three shifts per week)

Qualifications:

• Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated proficiency operating CT imaging equipment and associated technologies
• Ability to work effectively with patients, technologists, and healthcare teams during overnight hours
• Commitment to safety, accuracy, and confidentiality throughout imaging procedures

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CT scanners and related equipment to obtain diagnostic images as requested by referring physicians
• Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring comfort and adherence to safety standards
• Evaluate images for technical quality and collaborate with radiologists for image interpretation
• Maintain patient documentation and imaging records accurately within hospital systems
• Apply radiation safety protocols for both patients and staff at all times
• Adhere to all organizational, professional, and regulatory guidelines in the execution of duties
• Respond to emergency situations during the night shift calmly and efficiently
