Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring patient safety through thorough pre-screening, aseptic injection techniques, and adherence to radiation safety protocols.
- Producing superior PET/CT diagnostic images by accurately interpreting physician orders and selecting appropriate imaging parameters.
- Communicating effectively with patients, radiologists, and healthcare team members.
- Training new technologists and patient coordinators.
- Troubleshooting imaging equipment and peripheral devices to maintain operational excellence.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Dual certification required: Nuclear Medicine (NMTCB or ARRT(N)) and Computed Tomography (ARRT(CT)).
- Valid state licensure and CPR certification.
- Minimum of one year experience in PET and/or PET/CT imaging; prior experience in X-ray or CT.
- Capable of venipuncture.
- Flexibility for local travel within Indiana.
