Job Description

An outstanding opportunity awaits a skilled Imaging - Cath Lab Tech eager to grow in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract role places you at the forefront of patient care, providing specialized imaging support to a dedicated cardiac catheterization laboratory team.

Key Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology program
  • Active ARRT or RCIS certification (as applicable)
  • Valid and current state license in relevant modality
  • Previous Cath Lab experience highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of sterile techniques and operation of fluoroscopy/cath lab equipment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient in high-pressure, fast-paced clinical settings

Schedule:

  • Contract assignment (duration discussed during interview)
  • Rotating shifts may be required, including some on-call hours

Core Responsibilities:

  • Prepare procedure room, equipment, and supplies for diagnostic and interventional cases
  • Perform imaging and technical duties during cardiac and vascular procedures under physician direction
  • Monitor patient vital signs, document procedural details, and assist with patient positioning and safety
  • Ensure optimal image quality while minimizing patient radiation exposure
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and patient confidentiality
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care
