Job Description
A skilled cardiac catheterization lab technician role is available on a contract basis in West Bend, WI. This position involves working four days per week with variable shift start and end times, including some weekday nights and weekend coverage based on departmental needs. Flexibility to float onsite within your skill set or to nearby sites within a 40-mile radius may be required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a cardiac cath lab setting
- Proficient in imaging and catheterization lab procedures
- Ability to adapt to variable shifts and on-call schedules
Responsibilities:
- Assist with invasive cardiac procedures in the cath lab
- Maintain sterile technique and equipment readiness
- Collaborate with the healthcare team for efficient patient care
- Respond to call requirements during weekday nights and every fourth weekend
- Potentially float to other locations within the specified radius, as needed
Schedule/Hours:
- Four days per week with variable start and end times
- Call shifts currently include 1-2 weekday nights (5:00 PM to 6:00 AM) and one weekend every four weeks (Friday 5:00 PM to Monday 6:00 AM)
- Holiday coverage on call basis
