A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Imaging Technologist specializing in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. This contract role offers diverse shift patterns and the chance to apply your expertise in a dynamic clinical environment serving patients in the greater Waukesha, WI area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in the cardiac cath lab with precision and adherence to safety protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support cardiac interventions and patient care
- Maintain equipment and ensure operational readiness of imaging devices
- Adapt to variable schedules including weekday call shifts and every fourth weekend coverage
- Provide flexibility to float within your skill set to different onsite locations or nearby sites within a 40-mile radius as needed
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a cardiac catheterization lab setting
- Credentialed as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) preferred
- Ability to handle a range of imaging technologies specific to cardiovascular diagnostics
- Excellent clinical judgment and strong communication skills
Schedule and Location:
- Four days per week with varying start and end times
- On-call duty approximately 1-2 weekday nights per week (1700-0600) and every fourth weekend from Friday evening through Monday morning
- Located in Waukesha, WI, with opportunities to work at sites nearby
