Essential Qualifications:
- ARRT certification or equivalent in Imaging/Cardiac Cath Lab Technology
- State licensure or eligibility to practice in Illinois as required
- Prior Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology experience strongly preferred
- Competency in imaging equipment and technology specific to the Cath Lab
- Excellent patient care, communication skills, and attention to safety protocols
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the Cath Lab setting
- Operate and maintain specialized imaging equipment following established guidelines
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other care team members to ensure optimum patient outcomes
- Adhere strictly to infection control and radiation safety standards
- Accurately document all procedures and patient interactions in compliance with facility standards
- Participate in ongoing learning to stay current with evolving best practices and technologies
