This opportunity is for an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technician to support advanced imaging procedures in a busy Catheterization Lab. The role requires expertise in Cath Lab imaging, critical thinking, and high-level judgment to assist Cardiologists in delivering safe and effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cardiac catheterization imaging studies efficiently under Cardiologist and supervisory direction
- Maintain 1:1 patient ratio ensuring vigilant patient monitoring during procedures
- Utilize MedHost EMR and MacLab systems accurately for documentation and workflow
- Adhere to scrub color protocols and sterile technique in the cath lab environment
- Respond to call 7 days every other week with no 48-hour option or block scheduling
- Maintain maximum allowable response time (RTO) of 3 days for call coverage
Qualifications & Experience:
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (AHA or ARC accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Technician experience
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility location
Shift & Location Details:
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with call responsibilities
- Located in Victoria, TX (DeTar Navarro facility)
- Contract position, available for immediate start
