A specialized imaging role is available for a skilled Cath Lab Technician to support cardiac catheterization procedures. This full-time day position offers two schedule options: Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or four 10-hour days from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., providing flexibility in your workweek. Weekend on-call duties and holiday coverage are required, reinforcing the critical nature of cardiac care.
Location: This role is based in Valparaiso, IN, with primary responsibilities at a cardiac catheterization unit located nearby. The unit features two beds with a 1:1 patient-to-staff ratio, handling outpatient, inpatient, and emergent cardiac cases in a technologically advanced catheterization lab environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate cath lab imaging equipment to assist diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced cardiac setting.
- Maintain adherence to safety protocols and equipment sterilization standards.
- Participate in on-call rotations and holiday coverage as needed.
- Provide support for orientation and training modules, including EPIC Cupid electronic medical record system.
Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
- ARRT certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience as a Cath Lab Technician.
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a healthcare team.
- Flexibility to float to a nearby cath lab unit when required.

- Uniforms are provided (blue scrubs).
- Orientation and system training will be completed prior to starting.
