Job Description

Experienced professionals in catheterization laboratory technology are invited for a contract assignment focused on high-quality cardiovascular imaging and intervention. This role offers direct involvement in complex procedures and collaboration with a tight-knit clinical team in a state-of-the-art cath lab. Orientation and training are provided to align with the facilitys protocols.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Day shifts: MondayFriday, 8:00 a.m.4:30 p.m.
  • Option for four 10-hour shifts: 7:00 a.m.5:30 p.m.
  • 40 hours per week guaranteed
  • On-call duties required; holiday and weekend call coverage expected

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Radiologic Technologist state licensure
  • ARRT Certification
  • BLS Certification (current)
  • A minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Cath Lab Tech
  • EKG testing completion before assignment begins
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills

Preferred Experience:

  • Background with EPIC Cupid EMR system
  • Experience floating to multiple cath lab settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and operate specialized equipment for cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures
  • Monitor patient status continuously, maintaining a strict 1:1 patient ratio
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other cath lab staff
  • Document procedures and patient responses accurately in the EMR
  • Maintain compliance with safety protocols, policy, and accrediting standards
  • Participate in an efficient department workflow, and be available for call rotations

Additional Position Details:

  • Facility-provided blue scrubs for daily use
  • Orientation and all necessary education modules must be completed prior to start, including EPIC Cupid
