Job Description

A specialized opportunity is available for an experienced Cath Lab Technologist in The Villages, FL. This contract position requires proficiency in scrubbing Cath Lab procedures, including handling advanced devices such as Impella and Balloon Pumps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scrub and assist during Cath Lab cases with accuracy and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Support procedures involving complex cardiac devices including Impella and Balloon Pumps.
  • Participate in overnight and weekend call shifts as required, ensuring patient care continuity.
  • Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Cath Lab Technologist.
  • Valid RCIS or ARRT certification is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and assist in specialized Cath Lab cases.
  • Commitment to maintaining credentials with documentation submitted one week prior to starting.

Schedule:

  • Four 10-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
  • One to two overnight call shifts weekly.
  • One weekend call every five weeks.
  • Overtime available but must be pre-approved.
