A skilled Cath Lab Technologist is needed in Tavares, FL for a contract position offering a balanced schedule and competitive benefits. This role requires at least two years of experience in cardiac catheterization labs and certification in RCIS or CERT-ARRT-CV. The position includes full-time hours with weekend and call responsibilities, providing a dynamic and engaging work environment.
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Minimum 2 years Cath Lab Technologist experience
- Certification: RCIS or CERT-ARRT-CV (at least one required)
- Proficient in imaging techniques specific to the Cath Lab
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a clinical team
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols

Responsibilities / Duties:
- Perform and assist with cardiac catheterization procedures
- Prepare and operate imaging equipment in the Cath Lab
- Monitor patient vitals during procedures and respond to emergencies
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control standards
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure quality patient care
- Participate in on-call and weekend coverage as scheduled
Schedule / Hours:
- Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- 40+ hours per week
- Call: 1-2 nights per week
- Weekend coverage: Every 3rd weekend (Friday 5 PM through Monday 7 AM)
