Key Qualifications:
- Current ARRT or equivalent Radiologic Technologist certification.
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Cath Lab Tech.
- Expertise in imaging equipment specific to cardiac catheterization procedures.
- ACLS and BLS certifications, active and up to date.
- Strong understanding of sterile technique and radiation safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and technical troubleshooting skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate imaging technology for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
- Assist the physician and nursing staff during cases, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain detailed, accurate records of procedures and imaging results.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to any emergent situations.
- Adhere to all infection control, quality, and safety standards in the lab.
- Participate in ongoing training and departmental process improvements.
